Explain why the bison was necessary to the plains indians. give examples
tamaranim1 [39]
Bisons were of extreme importance for the Plain Indians. When they would catch it, they would use every single part of it. The meat can be eaten, the skin can be used for clothes or building tents, the bones can be used for pretty much anything, varying from jewellery to weapons. Bisons were a part of their life and that's why the colonies wanted to kill them so as to weaken the Indians.

why do you think andrew jackson ignored the supreme court's ruling in favor of the cherokees keeping their land ? please help
Andru [333]

Answer:

President Andrew Jackson decided not to uphold the ruling of this case, and directed the expulsion of the Cherokee Nation. U.S. Army forces were used in some cases to round them up.

Explanation:

Pres. Andrew Jackson declined to enforce the Supreme Court's decision, thus allowing states to enact further legislation damaging to the tribes. The U.S. government began forcing the Cherokee off their land in 1838.
