Kaylis [27]

Answer:

40th and 80th visit

the first visit where you receive both is the 40th

Step-by-step explanation:

personally, I believe that the simplest way to solve this is use an excel spreadsheet to see which visits would include both a free beverage and a free appetizer:

  • both rewards would happen only twice, at the 40th and 80th visit.

you can also calculate it mathematically since multiples of 8 and 10 do not repeat themselves very much, only when 8 is multiplied by 5 and 10.

Please help! And don't give me a link, I know it's a scam.
ivanzaharov [21]

Answer:

Yes.

Step-by-step explanation:

Well if the sum of the angles is equal to 180, then it's a triangle. Since 52+18+110=180, a triangle with the measures 52°, 18°, and 110° is possible. Hope this helps!

Y=(x^2-6x+14) Labeling the vertex
zavuch27 [327]
I leaerned this neat trick
you don't need to convert to vertex form

where
y=ax^2+bx+c
the x value of the vertex is -b/2a
the y value is found by inserting the x value of the vertex into the equation

so

1x^2-6x+14
-b/2a=-(-6)/2(1)=6/2=3
plug that in
y=x^2-6x+14
y=3^2-6(3)+14
y=9-18+14
y=5

the vertex is (3,5)

In the diagrams below, ABC is similar to RST. Use a proportion with sides AB and RS to find the scale factor of ABC to RST. Show
kicyunya [14]

Answer:

The scale factor of triangle ABC to triangle RST is 1/3

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

If two figures are similar, then the ratio of its corresponding sides is proportional and this ratio is called the scale factor

Let

z ----> the scale factor

To find the scale factor divide the length side of the image (reduced triangle) by the corresponding length side of the pre-image (original triangle)

z=\frac{RS}{AB}

substitute the values

z=\frac{6}{18}

simplify

z=\frac{1}{3}

The scale factor is less than 1

so

Is a reduction

PLEASE DON'T GUESS I NEED TO GET THIS RIGHT!!!!!!!!!

Well if Bob (represented by x) is three years older than Bill (y), the only one correct is x=y+3. Dividing by three wouldn't make sense (choice A), adding three more years onto Bob won't work (choice B), and multiplying Bob's age by three wouldn't work either (choice D). The answer is choice C.
