Answer: Krista's drawing would have a base length of 2 and 1/4 inches and a height of 7/8 inches

Step-by-step explanation: First you do 6 divided by 3 which is 2 then you make 3/4 in twelfths and you get 3/12, then you simplify that into 1/4. Then

you combine those and get a base length of 2 and 1/4 inches.

Next, you do 2 and 5/8 divided by 3. Since 3 is less than 2 your answer would have to be less than 1. What i would do is make 2 and 5/8 into a fraction, which would be 21/8. then to make it easiest you multiply that by 1/3. which would equal 21/24. and then you simplify by dividing that by 3. Which would give you 7/8, which would give you your answer.

So the final answer would be a base length of 2 and 1/4 inches and a height of 7/8 inches.

Pls, help me I don't understand! Very urgent!!!! (I have an attachment so you know what the problem looks like)
vredina [299]

1. A pair of supplementary angles: ∠IJH and ∠HJG, ∠IJH and ∠HJG

2. A pair of complementary angles: ∠JGK and ∠KGC, ∠FGE and ∠EGD

3. A pair of vertical angles: ∠AKB and ∠KJG , ∠IJH and ∠KJG

Solution:

Two angles are said to be supplementary when they add up to 180°.

We know that,

Sum of the adjacent angles in a straight line = 180°

∠IJK + ∠KJG = 180°

Therefore ∠IJK and ∠KJG are supplementary angles.

∠IJH + ∠HJG = 180°

Therefore ∠IJH and ∠HJG are supplementary angles.

Two angles are said to be complementary when they add up to 90°.

Given ∠CGD = 90°, ∠CGJ = 90°

∠JGK + ∠KGC = ∠CGJ

∠JGK + ∠KGC = 90°

Therefore ∠JGK and ∠KGC are complementary angles.

∠FGE + ∠EGD = 90°

Therefore ∠FGE and ∠EGD are complementary angles.

If two lines are intersecting, then the angles opposite to vertical point are vertical angles and they are equal.

∠AKB = ∠KJG (vertically opposite)

∠IJH = ∠KJG (vertically opposite)
