Answer:

No matter what your family tradition is or what your family chooses to create, just having something for all family members to look forward to each year is important. Traditions help create warm, positive memories that can be recalled fondly and draw family members back to one another year after year.

Explanation:

It has been observed that cultures and traditions have been changing with every generation. In my opinion, the reason behind this is the disintegration of joint families along with a more career-oriented mindset of the recent generations. Several steps can be taken to change this.

It is a well-known fact that cultural values and traditions are passed down from grandparents to grandchildren. However, due to changing lifestyle joint families are slowly and gradually getting converted to nuclear families. This prevents the grandparents from passing down beliefs and traditions to children. As the current generation is not aware of what their family beliefs and values are, they will follow the ones that they believe are appropriate. Secondly, as families become nuclear and parents focus more on their careers they have little time to transfer their culture and traditions to their children. Children learn from the actions of their parents and hence end up acting in the same way with their children as their parents did with them. Unfortunately, this hampers the adoption of family values and traditions.

To address the situation, people should be made aware of the benefits of staying in a joint family. This can be achieved through NGO or government agencies staging roadshows or seminars that highlight the advantages. The government should also contemplate introducing additional tax benefits for people who prefer to stay in a joint family. To add to that, schools should introduce activities around culture and traditions that require greater involvement from parents. This would force the parents to contribute to the task and they would eventually end up passing down their traditions and cultures.

To conclude, to ensure that age-old traditions and cultures stay intact and are passed down from generation to generation, the government and schools should play an active role in spreading awareness about the positives of staying in a joint family along and help facilitate conversation between parents and children on topics of culture and tradition through various activities.

What were the major achievements of each civilization?
Gala2k [10]

Answer: Literacy.

Explanation:

Throughout history, many civilizations have had their forms of literacy. These primitive letters represent a turning point in humanity's history; that is, the transition from prehistoric to historical times. Various primitive forms of literacy have developed throughout histories, such as pictorial or cuneiform, Egyptian hieroglyphs, and the like. The modern form of literacy was revived by the Phoenicians in North Africa (today's Tunisia).

RoseWind [281]

Answer:

Explanation:

The Mughal Empire, 1526–1761

The significance of Mughal rule

The Mughal Empire at its zenith commanded resources unprecedented in Indian history and covered almost the entire subcontinent. From 1556 to 1707, during the heyday of its fabulous wealth and glory, the Mughal Empire was a fairly efficient and centralized organization, with a vast complex of personnel, money, and information dedicated to the service of the emperor and his nobility.

Development of the Mughal Empire

Development of the Mughal Empire

Encyclopædia Britannica, Inc.

Much of the empire’s expansion during that period was attributable to India’s growing commercial and cultural contact with the outside world. The 16th and 17th centuries brought the establishment and expansion of European and non-European trading organizations in the subcontinent, principally for the procurement of Indian goods in demand abroad. Indian regions drew close to each other by means of an enhanced overland and coastal trading network, significantly augmenting the internal surplus of precious metals. With expanded connections to the wider world came also new ideologies and technologies to challenge and enrich the imperial edifice.
