Do you agree that freedom is linked to economic opportunity as well as physical security?
Xelga [282]

I do agree that freedom is linked to economic opportunity as well as physical security and freedom. Without freedom, security is somewhat useless. Freedom comes in two forms, economic freedom and social freedom. Therefore in America and other democratic states, you have the freedom to do both. In a capitalistic society, one has to get a job to make money which is a freedom that guarantees economic opportunities hence guaranteeing security. Security, on the other hand, comes in two different forms: First, financial security and physical security however one does need these securities to guarantee their freedom because freedom is already there considering one lives in a democratic, and capitalistic state. It is the job of a capitalistically residing individual to ensure that he uses that freedom to guarantee security.
