Olaudah Equiano was stolen from his country at age 11 with his sister.  In the first sentence of this passage it states, "...only I and my dear sister were left to mind the house, two men and a woman got over our walls, and in a moment seized us both...", since he later turned his life story into an autobiography, i know he wrote this.
