Answer:

The book I choose to do is the Weedflower.

Explanation:

The book, Weedflower, is about a 12 year old girl named Sumiko. It takes place before and after Pearl Harbor. Franklin D. Roosevelt signs a bill that allows the army to move all peoples of Japanese ancestry, even if like Sumiko was born in the US. As suspicions grow, Sumiko and her family find themselves being shipped to an internment camp in one of the hottest deserts in the United States. The camp she is moved to is also on a Native American reservation and there she finds that the life she has come to known is now gone. Here, she finds the Native Americans and feels that the Japanese are still unwanted as before they moved here. She meets a young Mohave boy who might just become her first real friend, when he can ever stop being angry about the fact that the internment camp is on his tribe's land. This book tells the truth of how Native Americans and Japanese met through the eyes of a young girl, desperate to fight it, make friends, and find a normal life

Write an essay exploring the role that the supernatural plays in Macbeth thus far. How does it affect the play’s overall atmosph
PolarNik [594]

The supernatural plays a large role in Macbeth. Had the witches not talked to Macbeth in the beginning of the play & told him of what he could become, none of the events that followed would have taken place. This gives an overall dark mood to the story. The mood relates to the play's central conflicts because after talking to some really dark and evil beings, Macbeth does some dark and evil things.

Harper Lee, the author, makes many observations about life and human nature through the
larisa [96]

Harper Lee shows in Atticus' speech how much the human being tends to be unfair, ignorant, and maintain a negative hierarchy between people.

What does Atticus emphasize in the final speech?

 • It shows how society is naturally racist.
 • He claims that this racism leads to injustice.
 • It shows how society is hierarchical.
 • It shows how everyone is affected by it.

Atticus' final speech occurs when he fails to defend an innocent man and deliver him from death, even with proof of his innocence. Given this fact, he shows that it is human nature to be unfair when it comes to situations involving people of low hierarchical levels in society.

This makes him point out that the human being is biased and that he ignores the truth if it doesn't benefit him.
