Answer : Because ancient Nepalese people are fond of religious work and served many god and goddess. we can see all sculptures are the images of god and goddess for an example: ugrachandi, bhairab, kali, buddha and bhodhisttva and maya devi temple in Lumbini and also Vishnu in bhudhanilkhantha etc.
