The theme in sometimes a dream needs a push is that life can change people forever in a moment. When he loses his legs in the accident his life changes in a flash of bright lights and a glimpse of a broken window and also the crash of the car ramming into the light pole

I have a dream to no longer be self-conscious about myself. Every day millions of teenagers go to school feeling upset about the way they are and look. I wish I could change that because the feeling is terrible and self-consciousness puts you down when you try to do your best. Not being confident about the way you look happens a lot and can bring your self-esteem down. It causes you not to stand out and interact with others; it makes you feel embarrassed about the way you look.

Which statement describes the central idea of the passage “two ways of looking at a river”
tiny-mole [99]

Answer:

Hi, you didn't put the answer options, but I can help you by showing you that the central idea in “two ways of looking at a river” is the statement that the more we know something, the more we change our opinion about it .

Explanation:

"Two ways of looking at a river" is a work by Mark Twain and describes how he changed his mind about the Mississippi River as he got to know it more and more. In the text Twain shows how he saw the river as something beautiful, poetic , somewhat mystical and transcendent, as something supernatural and ideological. However, after becoming a steamboat pilot and knowing the river in a professional way he started to change his mind, he started to see the river as something normal and natural, very different from the vision I had before.
