Trees were plante along a road 45km long. If the trees were planted 15m apart of both sides of the road how many trees were plan
never [62]

Answer:

B. 6,000

Step-by-step explanation:

First we need to convert km to m and we do this by multiplying 45 by 1000 because there are 1000 meters in a Kilometer (kilo means 1000). Then we divide 1000 by 15 and get 3,000. Then we multiply this by two because the trees are planted on both sides of the road. This leaves us with 6,000 trees planted all together.

This is my last question!!! ~ <br> - can someone answer this question with explanation?
wlad13 [49]

The answer is 15.92

This comes from the use of any of the trig functions, but you want to pick whichever one fits best. Since we are given the angle 53 degrees and the adjacent side that measures 12, and we want to find the opposite side, we can simply enter these values into our trig function.

Tan(53deg) = x / 12

Tan(53deg) * 12 = x

1.32704482 * 12 = x

x = 15.92454

Answer:

  $200

Step-by-step explanation:

The amount of withholding was ...

  $3500 · 9% = $315

The excess over the amount due is ...

  $315 -115 = $200

Yarin can expect a refund of $200.

4/5 + 3/4 =
marshall27 [118]

The topics you should learn are equating denominators and fractions. This is summing up simple fractions.

So we have to make denominators' numbers the same in order to sum up them all (we can sum fractions if the denominators are the same) , and we did it by cross product (that thing on the picture)

Equating by lcm (least common multiple) is the easiest way, because you might see bigger numbers on other questions, and cross product will bring much bigger numbers, so this technic might confuse you.

By the way lcm of 4 and 5 is already 20

Hope it helps!

PLEASE HELPPPPP. URGEENNTT!!! I DONT KNOW HOW TO SOLVE THIS
Oksi-84 [34.3K]

Answer:

A = 58.7 degrees

B = 66.9 degrees

C = 34.1 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

<u><em>For <A:</em></u>

Tan A = \frac{opposite}{adjacent}

Tan A = \frac{23}{14}

Tan A = 1.6

A = Tan^{-1} 1.6

A = 58.7 degrees

<u>For <B:</u>

Sin B = \frac{opposite}{hypotenuse}

Sin B = \frac{23}{25}

Sin B = 0.92

B = Sin^{-1} 0.92

B = 66.9 degrees

<em><u>For <C:</u></em>

Sin C = \frac{opposite}{hypotenuse}

Sin C = \frac{14}{25}

Sin C = 0.56

C = Sin^{-1}0.56

C = 34.1 degrees
