What universal theme does this selection suggest?
Wewaii [24]

Answer:

The universal theme this selection suggests is:

A) Weddings are joyous occasions.

Explanation:

The reason why the women are picking flowers in the poem "Prothalamion " by Edmund Spenser is that they are getting married. Weddings are joyous occasions, and so the brides are happily choosing flowers for their bouquets. This is a simple and small moment of celebration as they choose flowers to adorn one of the most important days of their lives. Therefore, I believe letter A is the best option.

Write a ballad poem<br> do not copy and paste!!!!
kifflom [539]

Answer:

It began on a pointy July afternoon:

I was the most smart doctor around,

She was the most talented princess.

She was my friend,

My talented friend,

My princess.

We used to nuzzle so well together,

Back then.

We wanted to natter together, around the world,

We wanted it all.

But one afternoon, one pointy afternoon,

We decided to natter too much.

Together we evicted a chip munk.

It was sharp, so sharp.

From that moment our relationship changed.

And then it happened:

Oh no! Oh no!

The next day I thought my brain had broken,

I thought my neck had burst into flames,

(But I was actually overreacting a little.)

But still, she is in my thoughts.

I think about how it all changed that afternoon,

That pointy July afternoon.

My neck... ouch!

When I think of that talented princess,

That talented princess and me.

An example of how winning counts more than taking a stand?
Tanzania [10]

Hi there!

In English, many short stories contain a lesson of how taking a stand is what matters, and not winning. Usually the protagonist of the story takes the stand while the antago wins (this isn’t every story, but many). Here are a few examples that might make winning count more . . .

- You won’t get desired attention for making an accomplishment if you win compared to just “standing up for what is right.”

- One might have an overall different mindset of not caring about certain policies or rules

- The team doesn’t want to be let down

These are just a few examples that are very general and not based on a certain story, but could apply to some. If you need to apply this to a certain story or novel, take into consideration the theme and analysis of it, and think about what the character’s mindsets are. This process should also help you grasp on how the question can be answered.

I hope this helps!

All of the following are benefits of an urban school except for the:
Virty [35]

Answer:

B. Cheaper living costs of urban areas

Explanation:

Compared to those who attend rural schools, kids who go to urban schools have some advantages.

Kids who live in cities have a greater number of opportunities to pursue career interests. Poverty is an issue rural areas deal with more often than urban areas. This problem affects education as well. Many children have to help their parents, find a way to earn money early, which leads to a higher drop-out rate. College is often not an option.

Then, it is harder to find excellent teachers in rural areas, and one of the main goals of education is to broaden children's horizons. Children attending rural schools lack opportunities to experience fine culture.

Cities are a multicultural environment, which means that there is a great chance that people from a bigger variety of backgrounds can be encountered there. The case with rural areas is the opposite.

Out of the listed statements, the only incorrect statement is statement B, as living in urban areas is not cheap at all, especially compared to rural areas. Many parents from rural areas can't even afford to have their children move to the city in order to pursue education.
