Let complementary angle be x,

Then the other angle is 4x

x + 4x = 90 ( complementary angles)

5x = 90

x = 90/5

x = 18,

The measure of the smaller angle = 18

And the measure of the larger angle = 4x

= 4 * 18

= 72

The supplementary of the larger angle is,

Let y be the other supplementary angle.

72 + y = 180 ( Supplementary angles)

y = 180 - 72

y = 108.

Hence, the other supplementary angle is 108 degrees.

Hope you understood. Plzzz let me know if you have any doubts.

Find the values of x y and z
andrey2020 [161]

9514 1404 393

Answer:

  • x = 18√2
  • y = 18√3
  • z = 36

Step-by-step explanation:

These "special" right triangles have side length ratios that it is useful to remember.

<u>45°-45°-90° triangle</u>

Sides have the ratios 1 : 1 : √2. That is, x is √2 times as long as the side length shown as 18.

  x = 18√2

<u>30°-60°-90° triangle</u>

Shortest to longest, sides have the ratios ...

  1 : √3 : 2

That is, y is √3 times the length of the side marked 18, and z is 2 times the length of the side marked 18.

  y = 18√3

  z = 2·18 = 36

you have 28 dog biscuit. You have 8 dog bowls. Each dog bow gets the same number of biscuits. how many biscuit are left over?
bearhunter [10]
First you want to find a multiple that's very close to 28. It's 24, so subtract 28-24 which is 4. 4 biscuits are left.

Hope that helped:)

What are the domain and range of the function f(x)=-3(x-5)2 +4?
Misha Larkins [42]

Answer:

D=(-infinity, +infinity)

R=(-infinity,  4]

Step-by-step explanation:

I think that 2 is an exponent so you function is f(x)=-3(x-5)^2+4

So if this is the case this is a parabola open down when a vertex of (5,4).

Visualize or draw a rough picture of that because that is all you need to answer this question.

The domain for a parabola function is always all real numbers (do notice I said parabola function).

The range for this parabola is (-infinity, 4]  since open down and the highest point has y value 4.
