Answer:

4^5/4^2

Step-by-step explanation:

We know 1/a^b = a^-b

a^b/ a^c = a^(b-c)

1/4^3   = 4^-3

4^2/4^5 = 4^(2-5) = = 4^-3

4^5/4^2 = 4^(5-2) = 4^3

4^-3

Answer:

4^{5}/5^{2} = not the same

Step-by-step explanation:

you have the equations

1/4^{3} = 0.015625\\\\4^{2}/4^{5} = 16/1024 = 0.015625\\\\4^{5}/4^{2} = 1024/16 = 65\\\\4^{-3} = 0.015625

I don't understand the bottom with 1/2= and 0.48=! It says find the corresponding equivalent for either the decimal or fraction
zepelin [54]
So basically, you have to find the decimal that equals 1/2 and the fraction that equals 0.48, but it has to be in simplest form. If you divide 1 by 2, you get 0.5, which would be the answer to 1/2=. For 0.48=, you would start by putting 48 over 100 because if you read the decimal aloud, it is 48 hundredths and 0.48 goes to the hundredths place. Then, you would begin to simplify 48/100. A common divisor for those 2 numbers is 2, but you could also use 4. I am going to use 4, so 48/100=12/25. Now that you have the fraction 12/25, look to see if there are any common factors. There are none, so 0.48=12/25.
Hope this helps!! :)

How do I do this question
Setler [38]
You could use the shadow made by the tower. For this you would need the length of the shadow and the hypotenuse of the triangle created. As for a picture of it you can just make a line and label it as a tower, then a line underneath as the shadow length then just connect the two lines forming a triangle that will be the hypotenuse.
