Answer:

heyy matee...

going according to given parameters

let 2 numbers be x and y

so atq =>

3x + y = 142 => y = 142 - 3x

and 4x - y = 148

4x - ( 142 - 3x ) = 138

4x - 142 + 3x = 138

7x = 280

x = 40

now y = 142 - 3(40) = 142 - 120 = 22

so x = 40 and y = 22

nd the surface area of a cylinderose radius is 1.2 mm and whoseheight is 2 mm.Round to the nearest tenth.SA = [?] mm²
AleksAgata [21]

Step 1

Given;

\begin{gathered} A\text{ cylinder with radius 1.2mm} \\ Height=2mm \end{gathered}

Required; To find the area

Step 2

The area of a cylinder is given as;

\begin{gathered} A=2\pi rh+2\pi r^2 \\ A=(2\times\pi\times1.2\times2)+(2\times\pi\times1.2^2) \\ A=4.8\pi+2\times\:1.2^2\pi \\ A=24.12743mm^2 \\ A\approx24.1mm^2 \end{gathered}

30 POINTS!!!
valkas [14]

The right answer is Option A.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given equation is;

y = 0.354x+4.669

Where x represents the number of miles traveled.

For measuring the cost for two stations that are 10 miles apart;

x=10

Putting in given equation

y=0.354(10)+4.669\\y=3.54+4.669\\y=8.209

Rounding off to nearest hundredth;

y=$8.21

The cost for two stations that are 10 miles apart will be $8.21

The right answer is Option A.
