Answer:

\frac{x^{\frac{1}{4} } +2}{x^{\frac{1}{4} } -2}

rationalise the denomimator:

=  \frac{ {x}^{ \frac{1}{4}  } + 2 }{ {x}^{ \frac{1}{4}  }  - 2} . \frac{( {x}^{ \frac{1}{4} }  + 2)}{ ({x}^{ \frac{1}{4} }  + 2)}  \\  \\  =   \frac{ {x}^{ \frac{1}{2} } + 4 {x}^{ \frac{1}{4} } + 4  }{ {x}^{ \frac{1}{2} }  - 4}

Kim purchased white vases, red vases, and flowers to create centerpieces for an event. The flowers cost a total of $336 and each
laiz [17]

Option A:

I and III only the answers.

Solution:

Let white vases be "w" and red vases be "r".

Cost of total flower = $336

Cost of each vase = $11

Total cost of the centerpieces

                = Cost of (white vases + red vases)  + Cost of flowers

                = 11(w + r) + 336

                = 11w + 11r + 336

Total cost of the centerpieces = 11w + 11r + 336 = 11(w + r) + 336

Therefore I and III only the answers.

Option A is the correct answer.

40.32 is 76.8% of what number?
julsineya [31]
Hey there

Lets solve this question together,

Convert <span>76.8%</span><span> to a decimal.
</span>
0.768 * x=40.32

Multiply 0.768<span> by </span>x<span> to get </span><span>0.768x</span><span>.
</span>
&#10;0.768x=40.32

Multiply<span> each </span>term<span> by </span><span>1 / 0.768</span><span> and simplify.
</span>
Cancel the common factor of 0.768.

x=40.32 / 0.768

Divide 40.32<span> by </span>0.768<span> to get </span><span>52.5

</span>x=52.5 <span>

You have two exponential functions. One function has the formula g(x) = 5 x . The other function has the formula h(x) = 5-x . Wh
AVprozaik [17]
Given the exponential functions g(x)= 5^{x} and h(x)= 5^{-x}

k(x)=(g-h)(x)
k(x)=g(x)-h(x)&#10;
k(x)= 5^{x} - 5^{-x}
k(x)= 5^{x} - \frac{1}{ 5^{x} }
k(x)= \frac{ 5^{x} 5^{x}  }{ 5^{x} } - \frac{1}{ 5^{x} }
k(x)= \frac{ 5^{2x} }{ 5^{x} } - \frac{1}{ 5^{x} }
k(x)= \frac{ 5^{2x}-1 }{ 5^{x} }
