Which two sentences maintain the verb voice; that is, they do not shift from one voice to another? *TWO CHOICES*
IRINA_888 [86]

Answer:

2. Thea wanted to visit Greece, so she bought a plane ticket.

3. Jeff felt bored, so he read an interesting science fiction novel.

Explanation:

Both sentences use their verbs in the active voice: <em>wanted, bought</em> (in the second sentence) and <em>felt, read</em> (in the third one). So these two sentences maintain the verb voice.

The first and the last sentences shift from the active voice to the passive voice: <em>craved, was baked</em> (first sentence) and <em>loved, was practiced</em> (last sentence).

Which man made object is likely to endure long after humans have disappeared from new york city answers? Apex
hoa [83]

The correct answer is bank vaults as stated in  Alan Weisman's book <em>"The world without us"</em> when he tries to depict the New York city scenery long after humans have disappeared from the earth. The reason why this would most likely happen is that quite a few of this Bank Vaults were made out of steel reinforced concrete, making them technically indestructible, unlike, for example, museum vaults, which are built to preserve with climate control rather than to protect, therefore using softer materials.

Valentin [98]
Okay here I go....    The building it typically gray and blue, with the yellow logo. Every so often it is repainted with a different pattern, but the color scheme usually stays the same. Inside, it's very organized and anything you could want is organized into aisles and food or products of the same type are kept in the same aisle. For example, baking flour would be in the same aisle as the frosting or baking soda. The is a deli where fresh meat is cut and measured out, and a bakery where fresh bread and pastries are made daily. Walmart not only for food, there you could also find home goods and other things you might need, such as clothing. Walmart is a franchise that is know all over the United States and can also be found in the rest of North America. Walmart also has other locations in Asia, Africa, and Europe.
