The galactosemia is a condition, in which the affected person is not able to metabolize the galactose sugar. This is a genetic disorder, inherited as an autosomal recessive trait. The homozygous dominant and the heterozygous individual do not show this condition. Only the individuals having homozygous recessive trait will show this condition.  

Lets say allele G codes for galactosemia, and G codes for the dominant allele, and g code for recessive allele.

Two nuerons connect to each other through synapse. When an action potential, or nerve impulse, arrives at the axon terminal, it activates voltage-gated calcium channels in the cell membrane, then the calcium which is present in hi highconcentration outside the neuron than inside, rushes into the cell. The Calcium then allows synaptic vesicles to fuse with the axon terminal membrane, releasing neurotransmitter into the synaptic cleft.

The nuerotransmitter than binds to the receptors at the post-synaptic cleft and causes the opening or closing of the channels, hence, depolarizing or hyperpolarizing the cells.This can produce a change in the membrane potential—voltage across the membrane of the receiving cell.

Anterior Pituitary or adenohypophysis has two parts: pars distalis and pars intermedia..though they are kinda joined in humans.
•Pars distalis (actuallyknown as the anterior pituitary) secretes hormones like Growth Hormone or Somatotrophin, Prolactin, TSH, ACTH,LH,FSH.
•Pars intermedia secretes only one hormone MSH (Melanocyte Stimulating Hormone)
•Posterior pituitary or Neurohypophysis stores two hormones (originally secreted by the hypothalamus) which are Oxytocin and Vasopressin or ADH.
