Culture and ethnicity play a important role in dietary intake because it effects the mentality and attitude. In some culture consuming non-veg is considered bad. So, they consume only veg food. But in some culture people have no boundary in their dietary.

These things are important areas for discussion when providing when dietary information to patients because when people follow some dietary for long period of time but when suddenly changes in the plan of dietary it'd be unsuitable for their body. Because it is new for their body to digest the food.
