Yes, it would only be irrational if the numbers had no end, (not repeating like .6666666…)
decimals that end, or repeat the same pattern are rational numbers.

Estimate the answer to the following problem to the nearest 10 13+46+87= a. 130 b.155 c.160 d.150
Lunna [17]
150

13+46= 59
59+87= 146

Round 46 to the nearest ten, which in this case would be 50 because the last number is larger than a 5.

Then add the 1 back in to make it 150.

A company with n employees publishes an internal calendar, where each day lists the employees having a birthday that day. What i
lutik1710 [3]

Answer: 1-(\frac{364}{365})^n

Step-by-step explanation:

Binomial probability formula :-

P(x)=^nC_xp^x(1-p)^x, where P(x) is the probability of getting success in x trials, n is the total number of trials and p is the probability of getting success in each trial.

We assume that the total number of days in a particular year are 365.

Then , the probability for each employee to have birthday on a certain day :

p=\dfrac{1}{365}

Given : The number of employee in the company = n

Then, the probability there is at least one day in a year when nobody has a birthday is given by :-

P(x\geq1)=1-P(x

Hence, the probability there is at least one day in a year when nobody has a birthday =1-(\frac{364}{365})^n

GrogVix [38]
She can buy 38 apples.

10/0.26 = 38.5 but you can’t buy half an apple so you round down to 38.

Hope this helped!
