Louis was king of France when the monarchy was overthrown during the French Revolution. He was guillotined in 1793.
The economic term describes the rate at which products are manufactured would simply be "production rate", which in a market economy is determined mostly by the consumer demand.
Socialism

distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a
whole. This denies the individual the opportunity to make their own free
