2) $4n+\frac{3}{2}=2n-\frac{5}{1}$

$4n+\frac{3}{2}=2n-5$

$4n+\frac{3}{2}-\frac{3}{2}=2n-5-\frac{3}{2}$

$4n=2n-\frac{13}{2}$

$4n-2n=2n-\frac{13}{2}-2n$

$2n=-\frac{13}{2}$

$\frac{2n}{2}=\frac{-\frac{13}{2}}{2}$

$n=-\frac{13}{4}$
