Answer:

Gibbon took September 4, 476 as a convenient marker for the final dissolution of the Western Roman Empire, when Romulus Augustus, the last Emperor of the Western Roman Empire, was deposed by Odoacer, a Germanic chieftain. Some modern historians question the significance of the year 476 for its end.

HELP ME PLEASEE!!!!!!!!
kozerog [31]

Answer:

A. The assembly served as a model for other colonial legislatures.

Explanation:

The Virginia House of Burgesses was a government institution in Virginia from 1619 to 1776. In this, the colonies elected representatives whose function was to make certain political decisions and approve laws for the colony. This colonial institution was later replaced by a most modern institution, known as the House of Delegates. However, the creation of the Virginia House of Burgesses was extremely important because it was one of the first institutions with elected representatives, which serve as a model for many other institutions not only in Virginia but also in other colonies. According to this, the correct answer is A.

Another person answered this too.... and they said A too.

How did colonization affect the lives of people in southeast asia ?
Montano1993 [528]
They are mixed with good and bad. I am from Thailand and we are proud to be an independent. We have never colonized by any countries.

If you talk to someone from the Philippines, they probably happy to be colonized by the American (I have no ideas why, but the Filipinos are weird--they don't love their country). Many do like the Spanish however...

If you talk to someone from Burmar, Laos, Cambodia. they probably oppose about the colonization because the French and the English had done nothing to their countries.

Why did slavery start in the colonies?
inna [77]
Slavery started because people liked having other people work for free, so they enslaved others. They were brought by ships from Africa. They would usually work on farms and ranches. The jobs were different because of the climate. One type of climate made it possible to grow cotton, another to grow tobacco, another for crops, and so on. They were important because they were free. Since wealthy land owners didn't have to pay workers, they got extremely rich because they had almost no losses at all.
