The list which shows the acidic solutions in order from least conductive of electricity to most conductive is HA, HC, HB

The pH of a solution is defined as the negative logarithm of the hydrogen ion concentration of the solution.

The higher the hydrogen ion concentration, the lower the pH of that solution whereas, the lower the hydrogen ion concentration of a solution the higher the pH of that solution.

In solutions, ions are responsible for electrical conductivity. Therefore, an acid solution with low pH or high hydrogen ion concentration will conduct electricity better.

In the given acidic solutions, HA, HB and HC, the order from least electrical conductivity (highest pH) to most electrical conductivity (lowest pH) is:

HA, HC, HB with pH 5.6, pH 4.7 and pH 3.9 respectively.

The other arrangements: (HA, HB, HC), (HB, HC, HA), and (HC, HB, HA)

are wrong because they do not follow the order of decreasing pH.

Circadian rhythm refers to
strojnjashka [21]

Answer:

The correct option is B) a pattern of biological functioning that occurs on a 24-hour cycle.

Explanation:

Biological rhythm is defined as the regular variation of an organic function related to the course of time, circadian biological phenomena (around the day), are those with a period of approximately 24 hours.

Circadian rhythms are physical, mental and behavioral changes that follow a daily cycle (the biological rhythm), and that respond primarily to light and darkness in an organism's environment. This cycle close to 24 hours, allows to recognize the sleep-wake phenomena and their homeostatic action, in the systemic processes of every living being. The circadian system is composed of photoreceptors, pacemakers and efferent pathways that allow a regular functioning of the sleep and wakeful state.
