Can someone help me find the name to an old movie, I've watched? I only seen part of the movie as a kid, in pre-k to 1st grade I

think. Here's what I remember: ((Old movie) in which a family moves to a house that used to belong to a writer who mysteriously died, leaving his book behind. The house is protected by a forcefield, keeping it safe from little monsters trying to steal the book. One of the children finds a little creature in the attack and feeds it crackers with honey.)
If you need more information please put your question in Comments, and only answer if you know the movie I'm referring to. (It can be a list of names of movies that are close to the premise of the plot.)

aalyn [17]

Manipulating syntax allows authors to use it in numerous ways to convey different meaning and provoke certain responses. This is why I believe that syntax allow the authors to create mood and suspense. It is true that syntax does not concern itself with the placement of punctuation but I don’t think is a reason.

Answer: C) Create mood and Suspense.

Which action foreshadows the events at the end of the passage?
vredina [299]

In the passage that is referenced, Scrooge goes home from work and gets uneasy. He checks each room, looks under the sofa and table, and double-locks himself in. This happened before the appearance of the first Ghost.

What is a Foreshadow?

Simply put, a foreshadowing is a premonition, an advance indication of something that is about to happen, usually an unpleasant experience.

The unpleasant experience that Scrooge experienced was the visitation of the Ghosts of Christmas. The correct answer thus is A.

See the link below for more about Foreshadow:
