Answer:

For any mathematical expression follow the BODMAS rule which states that we should calculate the Brackets first (2 + 4 = 6), then the Orders (52 = 25), then any Division or Multiplication (3 x 6 (the answer to the brackets) = 18), and finally any Addition or Subtraction (18 + 25 = 43).

Step-by-step explanation:

(5+4) × 5 + 3.3

Bracket open = 9

Since there is no division, so multiply 9×5, which is 45

Then add, 45+3.3

Answer= 48.3

firstly, I'd like to point out the graph is misleading, if AC is 10 it should be the shorter sides, but it shows as the longer side there.

let's bear in mind that in a rhombus, all sides are equal, even though they may be slanted, the diagonals meet at right-angles always, so the center is simply four 90° angles, and the diagonals bisect each other, namely they cut each other in equal halves.

The value of the expression is
elixir [45]

Answer:

24

P: parentheses (12 - 8) = 4

E: exponents (3^2) = 9

M: multiplication (12-8)/2 * 4 = 8

D: division (12-8)/2 = 2

A: addition (7 + 9 + 8) = 24

S: subtraction (blank)

Following the order of operations, our final answer is: 24

Students at an agricultural station conducted a study to compare geneticallymodified (GM) corn with regular corn. Each of 33 plo
OlgaM077 [116]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The given data is represented in the attachment.

a) Explain why yields from one type of corn are not independent of the yields from the other type of corn.

Yields from one type of corn are not independent of the yields from the other type of corn because, as the corns are planted in two similar plots, they could compete during watering process, even the amount of nutrients shared and the type of air. This means one corn may get more nutrients than the other. Therefore, they are not independent (they are dependent).

b) Based on the summary statistics, GM is expected to more likely obtain yield greater than 123, because 123 is greater than mean for regular corn but less than mean for GM corn.

Thus,

P(yield>123|GM)>0.5; and P(yield>123|Regular)<0.5
