Ingredients required to make 10 cups of lemonade = 10 cups lemon juice , 40 cups water  

1 cup of lemon juice & 4 cups of water makes one glass of lemonade

So, lemon juice : water proportion, per unit lemon juice = 1 : 4  

Hence, 10 cups of lemonade would be made by = 10 cups of lemon juice & 10 x 4 ie 40 cups of water.
