One reason the U.S decided to enter, however, was because of the horrible doings of the Germans in Belgium, and the sinking of the Lusitania (a German submarine sunk the Lusitania filled with many English and American citizens) which is most popularly viewed as the reason for the United States getting involved.

My suggestions to the framers of the constitution would have been that:

- women should have be given equal right to vote
- slavery should have been abolished

Explanation:

The U.S. Constitution which came into effect on March 4th 1789, had certain patent flaws which led to unrest in the country on many occasions. On of such flaw was that the voting rights was constricted only to the property owners and powerful sect of the population.
Women were deprived of right to vote until 19th Amendment, ratified in the year 1920. Another flaw was that the constitution did not abolish slavery when it came into effect but was abolished only after the Civil War by the 13th Amendment, ratified on December 6th 1865.
