1) True. Stunted growth means that the child experienced impaired growth and development due to poor nutrition, inadequate psychological stimulation, and repeated infection. These effects will mostly be permanent because they lacked nutrition during adolescence, and even before birth.

2) It’s false. An underweight person would not have increased body weight in relations to height. This is because weight does not vary with the square of height.

3) Its true. Swimmers ear is an infection that occurs in the ear canal. It’s extremely painful that’s why most people use isopropyl alcohol after going swimming. It occurs when ear wax builds up in the ear and it blocks the ear canal. It is also when water gets trapped in the ear canal and bacteria grows causing a lot of pain and discomfort.

4) True. Otitis media also known as middle ear infection can occur as a result of respiratory infection, cold, or a sore throat. It happens when a virus or a bacteria cause the area behind the eardrum to become inflamed.

5) True. Myopia is a condition that causes a person to see nearby objects clearly but with distant objects it’s blurred. It occurs when the shape of your eye causes light rays to bend incorrectly, focusing images in front of your retina instead of on your retina.
