I think that dress codes are bad because kids can't wear what they want to. Some kids will express themselves through their clothing and having a dress code stops them from being themselves. They can't show creativate and it makes them unhappy. This is why I think dress codes are bad for schools.
Hope This Helps!

I've written revisions to correct these in bold font:
Many Americans get uneasy when they hear the words "political revolution". But if a person thinks about it, they realize that our country was built by a small group of revolutionaries. You know some of their names well-- George Washington, Nathan Hale, Patrick Henry-- But you may not recognize others. They say one of the greatest but least known Revolutionary War heroes is Francis Marion. If someone saw the movie The Patriot, they would know it is about Francis Marion. In history books, it says Marion was called "The Swamp Fox." He led small bands of men in guerilla warfare against the British. They marched onto a battlefield in orderly rows, faced their enemies, and then fired shots at them. Their fighting spirit and Marion's tactics really caught you by surprise. Faced with fast-moving men who had an intimate knowledge of the surrounding swamps, they never knew when The Swamp Fox would strike. Francis Marion was a great military hero and a political revolutionary.
Answer:
The grandfather's hardware store became "the place for how-to advice on do-it-yourself projects."
The grandfather served as a volunteer firefighter for many years.
The grandfather employed people from the town in order to "keep his community strong."
Explanation:
In the given narrative, the narrator talks about how his grandfather was given an award for something that he(the grandfather) thinks isn't necessary. The story revolves around the grandfather and his contribution to making sure that their community is a haven and in good condition.
Throughout the whole narration, we see that the grandfather tried his best to make sure that their community remains friendly and sustainable to everyone. The events that helped develop the idea that he deserves the "lifetime service award" are the first, fourth, and fifth options.
