A. 28.26 sq in

Explanation:
The formula for the area of a circle is πr^2.
r represents the radius. Since the radius is 3, we can plug it in to find the answer.
π3^2
9π
9(3.14) = 28.26

Hope this helps! Please give brainliest if you can

What binomial do you have to add to the polynomial x^2+y^2–2xy+1 to get a polynomial: not containing the variable x
Naya [18.7K]

Answer:

Add -x^2+2xy

Step-by-step explanation:

The polynomial x^2+y^2-2xy+1 can be added to eliminate the x terms by adding the additive inverse. We add -x^2+2xy which has the inverse sign value of the polynomial terms.

(x^2+y^2-2xy+1)+(-x^2+2xy)

x^2-x^2+y^2-2xy+2xy+1

When we simplify, this leaves y^2+1 without an x term.

What is the surface area of a coke bottle?
how do you figure it out?
svetlana [45]
Can or bottle? A can will be the calculation for the surface area of a cylinder which is A= 2 \pi rh+2 \pi r^{2} if r is the radius of the circle on the top and bottom of the can and h is the height of the can. A can is basically two circles and a big rectangle. For a bottle I don't know there are too many components and no numbers to solve for that

jek_recluse [69]
The owner of a automobile repair center purchased new electronic diagnostic equipment for $12000. He paid 10 pERcent down and then paid 60 pAYMENTS monthly of $203.81.

Net loan, P=12000*0.9=10800
Monthly payment, A=203.81
Number of payments, n=60

Let i=APR

A=P(i/12*(1+i/12)^n)/((1+i/12)^n-1)
Substituting values
203.81=10800(i/12*(1+i/12)^60)/((1+i/12)^n-1)

=>
12*203.81/10800=i(1+i/12)^60/((1+i/12)^60-1)

To solve for i, we form the iterative equation:
(1+i/12)^60=(12*203.81/10800)/i*((1+i/12)^60-1)
i=12*(12*203.81/10800*((1+i/12)^60-1)/i)^(1/60-1)
try i=0.05,
f(0.05)=0.05
Therefore the APR is 5%
