The 2 ways the scientific method was used to change the way we thought about the world are:

  • Inductive reasoning
  • Deductive reasoning.

Inductive reasoning is a scientific method through which scientists reach a comprehensive conclusion from a set of specific premises or hypotheses.

On the other hand, Deductive reasoning is a scientific method in which scientists use general hypotheses to reach a specific logical conclusion.

For inductive reasoning, science has shown to us that the conclusion or findings reached through this method are not always true.

However, for deductive reasoning, the conclusion is always true.

Hence, in this case, we can conclude that the two scientific methods were used to change the way we thought about the world, however, some of the findings are still subjective to more tests because not all of them are completely true.

For the second part of number two which would be most important and why ?
Mnenie [13.5K]
I would say the most important would be the thriving cities because even if you lose the wealthy merchant class, by budgeting their money and saving what they could they could easily become wealthy again. A thriving city gives more than fund anyways. A thriving city has plenty of food, water, clothes, etc. Things that are needed to literally thrive. They have good education systems, some of the greatest thinkers and philosophers of our time coming from Greece, Rome, and Italy. A lot of art from this time period is still studied today in the most prestigious schools.

How did the great compromise settle a debate?
frozen [14]
It satisfied both of the parties' wants. It established two houses of Congress; one based on population (to satisfy the Virginia Plan), the House of Representatives, and the other, the Senate, that gave two representatives per state regardless of its population (to satisfy the New Jersey Plan or the Small States Plan).

Hope this helps :)
