Answer:

The Oromo People, which are natives of Ethiopia, are protesting because of Government induced repression. Many of the Oromo believe that the federal government are to involved in what is considered regional matters. There is also unrest about the arrest of several Welkait Amhara Identity Committee (WAIC)  members.
