Quick, anyone know the answer to this English question?
dexar [7]

Answer:

To be honest, due to this being a English question about slavery. It's not my best subject, though the only answer I can give you would probably be the second choice, 'to show that slavery is harmful to society'.

Explanation:

It's the only reasonable one. The last one is proving that slavery is right. The first one is just not as reasonable, and I just have a feeling it's the second one.  Though, it might be wrong it's most reasonable in my case. Good luck!

Explain in 2 sentences. "COURAGE is what it takes to stand up and speak and what it takes to sit down and listen"
julsineya [31]

Answer:

See explanation below

Explanation:

This quote was made by Winston Churchill, an orator who knew the courage it took to speak and also to listen.

The quote "COURAGE is what it takes to stand up and speak and what it takes to sit down and listen" basically means it takes courage to do the right thing (decide when to stand up and speak and when to sit down and listen).

Courage does not always mean standing up and speaking, sometimes it entails sitting down, questioning your own opinions and beliefs and listening to other people speak.
