Which of the three G's did Narvaez want?

Answer:

Three G's: God, Gold, & Glory

Explanation:

These three G's are somewhat universal when discussing conquistadors or imperialism in general in the context of the post-classical age. At this time, western reconnaissance and the exploitation of the Americas were extremely prevalent, due to European mariners using the nations as ways to obtain these three G's.

God - European colonists sought to spread and increase the influence of Christianity in the western hemisphere, where monotheistic religions were barely even known beforehand. These colonists forcefully spread Christianity (specifically Roman catholicism) and killed many who didn't convert.

Gold - At this time period, when a centralized currency had been implemented into many developing societies, and precious metals were highly valued by traveling merchants; gold was desperately needed not only to facilitate trade, but also to positively stimulate the economy.

Glory - Said colonists also wanted some recognition or fame for achieving such feats. Many of these voyages were sponsored by royalty, thus these explorers may have gotten some privilege upon arriving back successfully.

By "the three G's", I'm almost 100% percent sure this was what you were looking for.

Hope this helped!

This is an excerpt from a speech given by President Theodore Roosevelt. Based on this speech, what philosophy influenced America
Alex777 [14]

The correct answer is the following.

You forgot to include the speech of Theodore Roosevelt. However, doing some research, we can say the following.

The philosophy that influenced America's imperialistic policy was "The United States had the responsibility to intervene in the affairs of countries deemed to be weaker and less developed."

The foreign policy developed by President Theodore Roosevelt was called "Big stick policy." It was based on the principles of the Monroe Doctrine and aimed at maintaining the US presence and control in Latin America. Under the Roosevelt administration, the US was able to use diplomacy as the first conduit to reach an agreement but never hesitate to use the force of the military.
