Answer:

I did what I could and got up to 400 words I just ran out of ideas on what to write

Explanation:

First of all, we have our Virginia state representatives, which includes; Rob Wittman (Republican), Elaine Luria (Democratic), Bobby Scott (Democratic), Donald McEachin (Democratic), Ben Cline (Republican), Morgan Griffith (Republican), Bob Good (Republican), Abigail Spanberger (Republican), Jennifer Wexton (Democratic), and Don Beyer (Democratic).

All of these representatives have only server a two-year term, and are always considered for reelection. The State representatives are tasked with making and passing federal laws, based on the popular interests of their district. They also have to create and votes on the bills which makes new laws or just modify and update the old ones. So far one of the best achievements in this office has been that Virginia has been officially recognized for the business-friendly economy, on a national level.

Next, we have the Virginia state senators. The senator’s job is to represent the people in a higher level than the state representative on a lower house. Our senators, Mark Warner, and Tim Kaine are both democratic. These senators serve about six years, not consecutively. The state senate also passes or bans laws based on the interest of their district, they also negotiate to have a law a certain way or another. Some of the best accomplishments from this office have been; strengthening gun violence prevention, raising the minimum wage, and protecting the environment.

Lastly, we have the governor which is Governor Ralph Northam, from the democratic party, which has been in the office ever since 2018 and is actually the 73rd Governor. Governors are responsible for implementing state laws and overseeing the operation of the state executive branch. Governments also have to provide a parameter for an everyday behavior for citizens, and protect them from outside interference, and often provide for their well-being and happiness. And as a state leader, governors should peruse new policies and programs that use variety in tools, which includes executive order, executive budgets, and the legislative proposals and the vetoes in any law. For example, one of the best laws that Northam has passed was a ban on conversion therapy for minors.

The Virginia state officials are super important to the function of our state. If we didn't have any state-specific laws, our state wouldn't function as a whole as it should. Without it things would be way different since without a government our society would be an anarchy which is freely constituted without authorities or a governing body.

What did the appellate court rule in the case in the text, Power Entertainment, Inc., et. al. v. National Football League Proper
nignag [31]

Answer:

The correct answer is letter "C": That the oral agreement fell outside the statute of frauds if the plaintiff satisfied the main-purpose doctrine.

Explanation:

<em>Power Entertainment Inc. </em>sued <em>National Football League Properties Inc.</em>(NFLP), saying the other party violated an oral agreement to allow it to assume a third party debt if the other party would allow it to acquire valuable third party business licenses previously held. The Court of Appeals ruled that fraud status did not apply in such cases in Texas, the state where it all took place.

Send Me Money, a charitable organization, has a agreement with First California State Bank. The agreement allows Send Me Money t
ziro4ka [17]

Answer:

The use of the term "ethical" sometimes is a bit too lax when applied to evaluate situations. However, sometimes, it can also be too harsh. In response to your two questions, these would be the answers:

1. The ethical question here would be whether Greedy was right in overusing a benefit that the charitable organization had with the First California Bank. As President of the organization, it is in the hands of Greedy to ensure not just development, but also sustainable development of the organization. However, in the course of his attempts to improve the growth and efficacy of Send Me Money, he abused the benefit of the overdraft, and not to just any extent, but to the negative balance of 10.000 dollars. Although his intentions were in favor of the organization, and he used the money wisely, there still lies the question of if he could not have accomplished just as much, without abusing a benefit that could very well mean the end of the organization. So the ethical issue is that although the intention of Greedy was in the benefit of the organization, he did not take the best interest of it into account, because if he had, he would have tried to accomplish his goals without bringing the debt so high.

2. I disapprove of the way that Bill Greedy acted because he could have accomplished much more realistic goals and not placed the organization at risk by raising the debt to a bank to such high levels. Even if he increased fundraising efforts, it is evident that these were not successful, as the debt is so high.

What percentage of smartphone owners between the ages of 18-44 state they cannot recall the last time their mobile phone was not
Liula [17]

Answer:    25%

Explanation:  Smartphones are certainly an inevitable part of the everyday life of the modern technological age. It is almost impossible to imagine a day-to-day life without the use of smartphones for a variety of purposes, from using a variety of applications through common calls, etc. The said age range of 18-44 years, which means from teens to middle-aged people, where as many as 25%, which is a quarter of this age population, do not remember when they left the phone for five minutes. Probably nothing terrible would happen in those five minutes, but that speaks to how widespread the use of smartphones is. Teens are known to use it for a variety of applications for different needs, while these phones can also serve the business of middle-aged people. This phenomenon may be a matter of prestige and perhaps a matter of need and habit, but it is a familiar cliché that these 25% do not want to leave their phones even for five minutes.
