Answer:

I did what I could and got up to 400 words I just ran out of ideas on what to write

Explanation:

First of all, we have our Virginia state representatives, which includes; Rob Wittman (Republican), Elaine Luria (Democratic), Bobby Scott (Democratic), Donald McEachin (Democratic), Ben Cline (Republican), Morgan Griffith (Republican), Bob Good (Republican), Abigail Spanberger (Republican), Jennifer Wexton (Democratic), and Don Beyer (Democratic).

All of these representatives have only server a two-year term, and are always considered for reelection. The State representatives are tasked with making and passing federal laws, based on the popular interests of their district. They also have to create and votes on the bills which makes new laws or just modify and update the old ones. So far one of the best achievements in this office has been that Virginia has been officially recognized for the business-friendly economy, on a national level.

Next, we have the Virginia state senators. The senator’s job is to represent the people in a higher level than the state representative on a lower house. Our senators, Mark Warner, and Tim Kaine are both democratic. These senators serve about six years, not consecutively. The state senate also passes or bans laws based on the interest of their district, they also negotiate to have a law a certain way or another. Some of the best accomplishments from this office have been; strengthening gun violence prevention, raising the minimum wage, and protecting the environment.

Lastly, we have the governor which is Governor Ralph Northam, from the democratic party, which has been in the office ever since 2018 and is actually the 73rd Governor. Governors are responsible for implementing state laws and overseeing the operation of the state executive branch. Governments also have to provide a parameter for an everyday behavior for citizens, and protect them from outside interference, and often provide for their well-being and happiness. And as a state leader, governors should peruse new policies and programs that use variety in tools, which includes executive order, executive budgets, and the legislative proposals and the vetoes in any law. For example, one of the best laws that Northam has passed was a ban on conversion therapy for minors.

The Virginia state officials are super important to the function of our state. If we didn't have any state-specific laws, our state wouldn't function as a whole as it should. Without it things would be way different since without a government our society would be an anarchy which is freely constituted without authorities or a governing body.

disa [49]

Answer:

10

Explanation:

In 2003, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) proposed that in determining any risk, regulators should assume children have 10 times the exposure risk of adults to cancer-causing chemicals. Some health scientists contends that these guidelines are too weak. They suggest that, to be on safe side, we should assume that the risk of harm from toxins is 100 times that of adults. Others support doing this on ethical grounds, they say it is wrong not to give children much greater protection from harmful chemicals in the environment.

bonufazy [111]

The options are:

A). Not likely, because the sample is not random and thus probably not an accurate reflection of public opinion on the issue.

B). Not likely, because the sample size is too small.

C). Not likely, because a poll is only a snapshot of what people think at the time a poll is taken.

D). Yes, because the magazine has a national circulation and the sample size is sufficiently large.

Answer:

E). Not likely, because the sample is not random and thus probably not an accurate reflection of public opinion on the issue.

Explanation:

As per the given description, the two-third letters received by the magazine out of 1500 letters favoring the stricter rules against talking on the cell phone during driving 'can not be considered an accurate public opinion because the sample has not been taken randomly to reflect the exact opinion of the people.' Another key reason is that <u>the audience of the news magazine includes a specific group of people who do not represent the entire population correctly</u>. Secondly, <u>even out of the ones who read it a very little percentage of people would take efforts to write about it after reading the article</u>. Thus, it is not an accurate public opinion.
