I'LL LOVE YOU FOREVER PLZ<br> btw ik its C but how do i get that answer?
Korvikt [17]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Alright so just like the other problem we have to use ratios to find if it is parallels or not. In order for AC and DE to be parallels the sides CE and AD and DB and EB have to have the same ration. So in answer c if you do 24/22.5 you would get 1.066666667. So then to find the length of EB we subtract 24 from 40 to get 16 and then we do 16/15 to find out if the ratios are the same. And indeed they are the same both equaling 1.066666667. If you were to divide CE/AD and DB/EB none of the answers would be the same leading to c being the correct answer

Find the measure of the missing angles in the triangle below round your answer to the nearest degree
navik [9.2K]

Answer:

a. 40°

b. 21°

Step-by-step explanation:

a. Reference angle = θ

Opposite = 5

Adjacent = 6

Apply TOA:

Tan (\theta) = \frac{Opp}{Adj}

Tan (\theta) = \frac{5}{6}

\theta = Tan^{-1}(\frac{5}{6})

\theta = 40 (nearest degree)

b. Reference angle = x

Opposite = 5

Hypotenuse = 14

Apply SOH:

Sin (x) = \frac{Opp}{Hyp}

Sin (x) = \frac{5}{14}

x = Sin^{-1}(\frac{5}{14})

x = 21 (nearest degree)
