Jordan wants to find the volume of a cylindrical water storage tank. When we walks around the tank, staying as close to the tank

wall as possible, he travels 82.1 feet. How can he use this information when finding the volume of the tank?
He can say the radius of the base of the tank is approximately 13 feet.
He can say the radius of the base of the tank is approximately 41 feet.
He can say the area of the base of the tank is approximately 82 feet.
He can say the height of the tank is approximately 82 feet.

When we come to think of it, the total distance that Jordan covered after walking around the tank is the circumference of the circular base of the tank. The circumference of a circle is calculated through the equation,
                               C = 2πr
Substituting the known values,
                             82.1 ft = 2πr
The value of r in the equation is equal to 13 ft. Thus, the answer is the first choice.

Find the general solution, y(t), which solves the problem below, by the method of integrating factors.
Sonbull [250]

The general solution, y(t), which solves the problem by the method of integrating factors is; y = ¹/₂₁t⁴ + (1/t)c₁t^(⁴/₅)

How to solve differential equations?

We want to find the general solution of;

5t(dy/dt) + y = t⁴

We will divide through by 5t to get;

(dy/dt) + y/5t = t³/6

Using Integration factor, we have;

u(t) = e^∫(¹/₅t) dt = t^(¹/₅)

Thus, we now have;

[t^(¹/₅)](dy/dt) +  [t^(¹/₅)]y/5t = [t^(¹/₅)]t³/6

Completing this with a differential calculator gives us the general solution as;

y = ¹/₂₁t⁴ + (1/t)c₁t^(⁴/₅)

PLS HELP
First answer- (5,0) (10,0)
Second answer- (0,1//20) (0,20)

Julli [10]
X-intercept mean y=0

2/5x+1/10(0)=2

2/5x=2

X= 5

X-intercept = (5,0)

Y-intercept means x= 0

2/5(0)+1/10y=2

1/10y=2

y=20

Y-intercept = (0,20)
