<h2>Complete Question:</h2>

Identify the segment bisector of RS. Then find RS:

  • Also, see attachment for the image being referred to.

<h2>The segment bisector of \overline{RS} is \overrightarrow{MA}</h2><h2>\overline{RS} = 18</h2>

<u><em>Recall:</em></u>

A segment bisector is a line or part of a line that divides a segment into two equal segments or parts.

<em>Thus</em>:

From the image in number 4, we have line RS that is divided by \overrightarrow{MA} into two equal segments, namely:

RM and MS

The segment bisector  of \overline{RS} is therefore \overrightarrow{MA}.

<em>Thus</em>:

RM = MS = 9 (equal segments)

RM + MS = RS (segment addition postulate)

<em>Substitute:</em>

9 + 9 = \overline{RS}\\18 = \overline{RS}\\\overline{RS} = 18

<em>Therefore</em>:

The segment bisector of \overline{RS} is \overrightarrow{MA}

\overline{RS} = 18

Otrada [13]
The left side should be infinite, based on the ..., which represents that the list goes on. The right side, however, should be finite, because that’s where the pattern stops.

A bolt has 16 1/2 turns per inch. How many turns would be in 2 1/2 inches of thread?
Kazeer [188]
We know that one inch has 16.5 turns.
To know the number of turns in 2.5 inches of thread, we will simply do a cross multiplication as follows:
number of turns = (2.5 x 16.5) / 1 = 41.25 turns

Answer:

6x²y²

Step-by-step explanation:

6: 1 2 3 6

18: 1 2 3 6 9 18

36: 1 2 3 4 6 9 12 18 36

the common factor for 6 18 and 36 are

1 2 3 6

x² = x × x

y³ = y × y × y

x³ = x × x × x

y³ = y × y × y

x³ = x × x × x

y² = y × y

the common factor are for x and y are

x² y²

Multiply the GCF of the numerical part 6 and the GCF of the variable part x² y² to get 6x² y²
