Answer:

It belongs to Alma because Susan abandoned it and Alma took possession of it

Explanation:

By common law, Alma is a person who has found an abandoned property and she may claim it. To do this, she has to take some definite steps to show her claim. Alma can claim this abandoned piece of chair by taking it into her house, or by placing a sign on it to show that she now owns it.

If Susan was to take this to court, the court would determine the kind of item and where it was found to determine if Alma has a right to it. But since it was found in a dump site she now has the right to it.

Differential pricing means different buyers pay different prices for the same quality and quantity of a product.
GaryK [48]

Differential pricing means charging different prices to different buyers for the same quality and quantity of product. For example, many movie theaters offer discounted tickets for seniors

What is pricing?

Pricing is the process by which a company determines the price at which it will sell its products and services, and it may be part of the company's marketing strategy.

Pricing criteria represent customer or deal characteristics. Price administrators define the pricing criteria that will be used to determine their company's pricing strategy. When you define the pricing segments and pricing strategies, you use the values for the pricing criteria.

It is possible to barter. Buyers must decide whether the utility gained from the exchange is worth the loss of purchasing power. In an open market economy, price represents the value of a good/service among potential purchasers and ensures competition among sellers.

The Mighty Power Tool Company has the following accounts on its books: Customer Amount Owed ($) Age (days) ABC $47 comma 150
frez [133]

Answer:

Accounts receivable more than 60 days = $39,500

% of accounts receivable = 11.07%

Explanation:

The following table shows the aging schedule-

Customer Amount Owed ($) Age (days)

ABC $47,150 32

DEF 37,500 7

GHI 18,900 14

KLM 72,000 28

NOP 41,450 43

QRS 16,000 11

TUV 84,300 58

WXY 39,500 75

We have to develop a schedule with a 15 days incremental through 60 days. And we show which customers are falling in that category -

0-15 (DEF + GHI + QRS) = $(37,500 + 18,900 + 16,000) = $72,400

16-30 (KLM) = $72,000

31-45 (ABC + NOP) = $(47,150 + 41,450) = $88,600

46-60 (TUV) = $84,300

Over 60 (WXY) = $39,500

Accounts receivable more than 60 days = $39,500

Percentage of Accounts receivable = \frac{39,500}{72,400+72,000+88,600+84,300+39,500}

= 11.07%

This question refers to flexibleminusbudget variance formulas with the following descriptions for the variables: A = Actual; B
natulia [17]

Answer:

$40,000 (U)

Explanation:

Given that,

Flexible-budget variance for materials = $2,000

Price variance for material = $38,000

Sales-volume variance = $13,000

Efficiency variance for direct manufacturing labor = $9,000 (F)

Flexible-budget variance for materials = Price variance for material + Efficiency variance for materials

2,000 (U) = 38,000 (F) + Efficiency variance for materials

Efficiency variance for materials = 2,000 + 38,000

                                                      = $40,000 (U)
