Explanation:

1A William Bradford was a religous leader who sailed on the Mayflower and later became governor of the second colony founded in 1620, Plymouth. He is widely known for his journal "The Plymouth plantation", in which he depicts the early life of that colony. He also includes a description of his voyage on the Mayflower.

2E i He was an English American writer who supported revolutionary causes in America. His most famous work was "Commom Sense". In it, he provides persuasive arguments explaining why it wasn't meant to be for Britain to control the colonies and of course promotes American independence.

3C Anne Bradstreet is considered the first woman poet in America and one of the greatest poets of the New World. She published different kinds of poems. Among them she wrote personal love poems about her love for her husband. The following is one of them, where you can find the rhyming couplets (a couplet consists of two successive lines that rhyme):

If ever two were one, then surely we

If ever man were lov'd by wife. then thee;

If ever wife was happy in a man

Compare with me ye women if you can.

Notive how the last words of the first two lines rhyme (we and thee) and the last words in the third line and fourth rhyme as well (man and can).

4F In 1776, The Congress appointed five men to start writing the Declaration of Independence. But it was Thomas Jefferson who was chosen by the committee to draft the document.  He wrote about the colonists' right to rebel and their rights for liberty and fot the pursuit of happiness.

5D Olaudah Equiano was a former slave, seaman and perchant. He wrote about the horrors of slavery and fiercely fought to abolish it. He wrote the Middle Passage. He refers to the crossing point between Africa and America where millions of Africans were transported to the New World as slaves. Many of them died due to starvation and overcrowding. In his narrative, e wanted to tell the truth about the lives of slaves so he included vivid descriptions with powerful imagery for every sense.
