6 + 2x = 1/2(12+4x)

6 + 2x = 1/2 * 12 + 1/2 *4x

6 + 2x = 6 + 2x    Distributive property

6 + 2x = 6 + 2x        We can see that both sides are equal.
-6           -6

2x = 2x

Stels [109]

Answer:

How many people like both drinks?

To find the overlap, we can do (104 + 74) - 140 = 38.

How many people like tea only?

To find this, we can do 74 - 38 = 36.

How many people like milk only?

To find this, we can do 104 - 38 = 66.
