Nazi Germany, officially known as the German Reich from 1933 until 1943, and the Greater German Reich from 1943 to 1945, was the German state between 1933 and 1945, when Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party controlled the country, transforming it into a dictatorship. Under Hitler's rule, Germany quickly became a totalitarian state where nearly all aspects of life were controlled by the government. The Third Reich, meaning "Third Realm" or "Third Empire", alluded to the Nazis' conceit that Nazi Germany was the successor to the earlier Holy Roman Empire (800–1806) and German Empire (1871–1918). The Third Reich, which Hitler and the Nazis referred to as the Thousand Year Reich, ended in May 1945 after just 12 years, when the Allies defeated Germany, ending World War II in Europe.

juin [17]

The correct answer is C) diminish the support for the Democratic-Republicans.

A major purpose behind the passage of the 1798 Alien and Sedition Acts was to diminish the support for the Democratic-Republicans.

The Alien and Sedition Acts were controversial in that many thought they violated the Constitution.

In 1798, the United States Congress passed four acts in the times when the war against France was a matter of any moment. These acts were called the Allien and Sedition Acts and were very controversial. Specifically, the Naturalization Act, increased from five to 14 years, the requirement to get American naturalization. The Sedition Act punished the ones who spoke against President Adams. The Alien Enemies Act authorized the US government to deport the male citizens of an enemy nation in times of war.

Explanation:

The Preamble's first three words tell us that the authority of the Constitution comes from ordinary Americans.

The first three words in the United States Constitution are, "We The People." While this may seem very simple, it means a lot to America and shows how important American citizens are for the impact of the country.

"We The People" shows how the United States government commits to serve the American people and do everything in their best interest for them. It is essentially the backbone of the country, creating something by the people and for the people.

Jet001 [13]

Answer: Churchill was the first to point to Hitler's threat.

Explanation:

Even before the outbreak of World War II, British Prime Minister Winston Churchill pointed to the danger lurking in Germany. In this passage, Churchill said that the war would be long and complicated and that it would be fought in all possible ways. Britain did not have enough capacity to confront the hitter itself, so Churchill warned the world about the threat coming from Germany. America provided some assistance to Britain in arms during the war. Churchill presented to Britain and the world the fact that the war would be long, complicated and destructive because he was familiar with belligerent nationalism in Germany and the fact that Germany was at that moment the most powerful military force in the world.
