Novosadov [1.4K]
What should denise do for her next step?

Answer: Out of all the options presented above the one that best represents the next step that denise should take after already using her straightedge and compass to construct the circle, lines, and arcs is to use the straightedge to draw line ac, line ad, line bc, and line bd. use the compass and straightedge to construct the bisector of ∠cpb∠cpb. Please see the attachment as reference to how it should look like once it is completed.

I hope it helps, Regards.

Q(a+1) - 2q(a) if q(x) = x²+3x+4
siniylev [52]

q(x) = {x}^{2} + 3x + 4

_________________________________

Step(1)

To find q(a) we just need to put a instead of x in q(x) function.

Let's do it...

q(a) = {a}^{2} + 3a + 4

Multiply sides by -2 :

- 2q(a) = - 2( {a}^{2} + 3a + 4)

- 2q(a) = - 2 {a}^{2} - 6a - 8

_________________________________

Step (2)

To find q(a+1) we just need to put a+1 instead of x in q(x) function.

Let's do it...

q(a + 1) = ({a + 1})^{2} + 3(a + 1) + 4 \\

q(a + 1) = {a}^{2} + 2a + 1 + 3a + 3 + 4 \\

q(a + 1) = {a}^{2} + 5a + 8

_________________________________

Step (3)

q(a + 1) - 2q(a) =

{a}^{2} + 5a + 8 - 2 {a}^{2} - 6a - 8 = \\

- {a}^{2} - a = - a(a + 1)

And we're done.

Thanks for watching buddy good luck.

If the range of f(x)= square root mx and the range of g(x)=m square root x are the same, which statement is true about the value
AveGali [126]
M can be any positive real number.

Explanation:

From f(x) = √(mx) ; if x is posive m has to be positive; if x is negative m has to be negative; if x is cero m can have any value, and the range will always be 0 or positve

From g(x) = m √x; x can only be 0 or positive and the range will have the sign of m.

Given we concluded that the range of f(x) can only be  0 or positive, then me can only be 0 or positive.

Anyone know the answer?
uysha [10]
AB = CB
Because they are congruent
Therefore CB = 5.9
Given perimeter = 17
CB+BE+ED+DC = 17
5.9 + BE + 2.8 + 5.6 = 17
BE + 14.3 = 17
BE = 17 - 14.3
= 2.7
Hope I helped
If I did please give brainlest answer
Thanks
