Answer:

When the Spanish conquered the Americas, they brought in their own religion. Hundreds of Native Americans converted to Christianity. Churches, monasteries, shrines and parishes were built. This was one of the Spanish's main goals in colonization, as well as giving Spain more power.

Henry Johnson ward off a German attack of a listening post when:

Answer  = ' Used his rifle as a club and also stabbed German soldiers with a knife'

Basically, he used his rifle as a club, until his stock of bullets ended. He would've stopped fighting but saw German soldiers grabbing his friend, and pulled out his knife to fight until his last breath. After fighting, and killing, some German soldiers with only one blade, the German soldiers left ran back into the night.
