How it is different to define a person than it is to define a word?

Answer:

When you describe a person, you define them how you see them, or their personality. This is done in many ways (actions, thoughts, or what we say), but another reason it's different is that defining a word is saying what that means, not describing the way it is or does something like you might with a person.
