Reason: If you wanna know what is and isnt a function, you need to look at the variable “x”.

If there are repeating “x’s” then its not a function, if there isnt and they have their own number for “y” then its a function

With a graph, you can use the vertical line test, if you can pass through the line vertical more than once its not a function, and if i passes through once its a function
