Line EG ≈ 22.4

  • This question is based on line segment proportionality theorem. This theorem states that when two transverse lines intersect with three or more parallel lines, it means that we have to divide the transverse lines into proportional line segments.

We are told that;

Line FG is parallel to CD

FC = 16.9

GD = 13.5

EF = 28.1

  • Due to the fact that Line FG is parallel to CD and applying line segment proportionality theorem, we can say that;

EF/FC = EG/GD

Plugging in the relevant values, we have;

28.1/16.9 = EG/13.5

Making EG the subject, we have;

EG = (28.1 × 13.5)/16.9

EG ≈ 22.4

From a list of 100 grade 12 students numbered 00 to 99, a sample of ten is taken. For each example below, identify what sampling
Natali [406]

Answer:

Following are the solution to this question:

Step-by-step explanation:

We used sampling technique to collect samples throughout the instance of Options a and b because here each successive sample frame has the same gap of 10 (in the example) and in 'b' is 1, but we use a simple random sampling in 'b' and 'c' to collect the test because they can't follow any specific pattern from of the collecting systems here.

If A is a square matrix such that A^2=2I,then A^-1=?
Afina-wow [57]

A^2=2I

Recall that I=AA^{-1}=A^{-1}A, so

A^2=2(A^{-1}A)

Multiply on the right by A^{-1} and regroup terms:

A^2A^{-1}=2(A^{-1}A)A^{-1}

A(AA^{-1})=2A^{-1}(AA^{-1})

A=2A^{-1}

and finally solve for A^{-1}:

\boxed{A^{-1}=\dfrac12A}
