In-network providers simply refers to the people health care providers who give health care services to members based on the agreed contract with the health insurance plan.

A provider network is made up of the list of the doctors, the health care providers as we as the hospitals that wants to provide medical care to their members. It should be noted that such providers are called the in-network providers.

On the other hand, when a provider is not contracted for the plan indicated above, they're called the out-of-network provider.
