Even when looking very similar, Pyrite and Gold have their differences. Pyrite is harder than Gold and has dark grey streaks. Gold, on the other hand, is yellow and has no streaks.

Pyrite and Gold can be easily confused. However, they are quite different from each other. And you can see some of these differences externally.

Let us enumerate some characteristics that they do not share.

Pyrite

 4. It is striated, exhibiting parallel lines,
 5. Composed of many crystals with sharp edges,
 6. Golden-colored, but not pure. It is lighter and with greyish lines,
 7. It has spots on its surface,
 8. Bad smell, especially when heating it.

Gold

 1. Composed only of gold,
 2. It is a metal,
 3. It is very malleable,
 4. It is homogeneous, with no striated surface,
 5. It does not have crystals and characterizes for having rounded edges,
 6. Its color is yellow-like gold. Pure,
 7. It does not exhibit spots on its surface, nor changes in tonality,
 8. It does not have a bad smell, even when heating it.

Where is CO2 reduced during the calvin cycle reactions
irina [24]

In fixation, the first stage of the Calvin cycle, light-independent reactions are initiated; CO2 is fixed from an inorganic to an organic molecule. In the second stage, ATP and NADPH are used to reduce 3-PGA into G3P; then ATP and NADPH are converted to ADP and NADP+, respectively.
