Answer:

Through erosion by wind and water

Explanation:

A valley is a depression on earth’s surface that is usually occupied by any water body either a river or a stream.

Due to running water and sometimes even wind, there occurs gradual wearing of land mass which ultimately leads to formation of valleys. The shape and size of the valleys is very much defined by the force which is causing its erosion, the rock characteristics and the slope of the land.

Hence, there are three types of valleys – a) U-shaped valleys b) V-shaped valleys and c)  flat-floored valleys.

How does a pond form?
ollegr [7]

Hello There!

-There are 2 possible ways that a pond could form-

The first way it could happen is because of erosion. Erosion is the movement of weathered materials. This includes gravel, soil, and sand. This is the reason why the Earth's surface is always changing.

The second way ponds could made is by a person. This is called man made because someone had to be able to build hem

Explain how we theoretically get 32 atp molecules per glucose oxidized in the liver, but only 30 atp molecules per glucose oxidi
svet-max [94.6K]

Answer:

During the oxidation of glucose in the liver the malate aspartate shuttle system is used, therefore, two additional ATPs get generated at the step constituting glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase.

On the other hand, in the brain, a cell uses the glycerol phosphate shuttle system, which generates two less number of ATPs. However, the remaining of the energetics for the number of ATP in both cases are similar.

Thus, the difference is based upon the kind of shuttle system used that leads to the production of 32 ATPs in liver cells and 30 ATPs in the brain cells.
